Air service from Bakki

For decades Bakki airport has served as a convenient terminal for flights to and from the islands, now serviced by Westman Islands airlines. Bakki is situated on the mainland´s south coast, 130 km from Reykjavík. About 1 hr 45 min drive from the capital and about 20 minutes drive from Hvolsvöllur.
