The Westman Islands offer excellent facilities for receiving groups for all kinds of occasions, a unique combination of first class meeting facilities in a spectacular environment.

Höllin (the palace) was opened in 2001, a conference and reception centre fulfilling all modern demands. Two, well-furnished, meeting halls with state-of-the-art technical facilities make this a choice venue, additionally able to cater for up to 200 dinner guests. A state-of-the art kitchen, one of the best equipped in the country, tempts visitors with the best and freshest catch from the surrounding ocean. Fish, puffin and auk have delighted guests from all over the world.

A convention or a meeting taking place here has the added and extremely significant attraction of the islands themselves, not only Heimaey, but also the smaller outlying ones. A great adventure is on offer: sailing into caves and passing close by cliffs teeming with bird life with the course set for one of the islets where tranquility, cocktails and food wait the sea farers.

A glance at the schedule of social events in the town reveals a surprisingly large agenda. Conferences or meetings are therefore easily combined with a local theatrical performance, a concert or a dance. Vestmannaeyjar offer the opportunity of combining a unique mixture of state-of-the-art technology, unspoiled magnificent surroundings and a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.
